The Supplier Quality Engineer will support activities in a Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Focusing on CAPA, Quality Tools and Suppliers Selections programs. Understanding of SPC and GD&T.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field.
Experience reviewing and approving qualification plans and reports to ensure components, materials and supplier meet specified requirements.
Experience with corrective action process and elimination of problem root cause through long-term preventive action.
Experience reviewing material quality issues, implementing and supporting corrective/preventive actions with suppliers (SCRs).
Experience with supplier development programs, improving receiving inspection process and preventive components rejection.
Knowledge resolving material quality issues, specifications, and inspection procedures questions at the incoming inspection area.
Experience evaluating, selecting, validating and qualifying equipment / tools/ technologies for accurate inspection, including fulfilling financial requirements for capital equipment acquisitions.
Experience performing, reviewing and approving endor related investigations for NCRs & SCARS to ensure effective problem resolution associated to raw material/components.
Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written.
